A funny thing happens when you start making a sculpture. You find that you often need to make specialized tools to form the pieces. These can be small very simple tools like a spreader to a large complicated piece like a ring roller.
Repurposing an old exercise machine into a ring roller was quite a project. The difference in cost between a purchased one and our ring roller was well worth the effort. Not only was our much less expensive, it was much more robust and versatile. It was like making a sculpture to make sculpture.
