ABOUT

Gregg and Susan met, earned BFA’s, married and started making things. His degree is in Radio, Film & TV. Hers is in Fine Art. Neither one could focus on their art, as they were busy earning a living, rehabbing homes, raising children, designing and building a Bed & Breakfast in the North Carolina mountains, and taking care of llamas. With the sale of the B&B in 2005, various enterprises went the same way as the economy.

They started building on the skills that college and life had handed them. Susan was focusing on painting. When she needed a bigger studio than the spare bedroom, Gregg suggested the Fines Creek Community Center. Next to the school is the gymnasium, which is a gorgeous building of hand stacked stone and hardwoods. For her birthday in 2009, he showed her a room in the gym, and told of the changes and repairs that they could achieve to make her a spacious, light studio, with a handsome view of the mountains. With help from friends and family, the studio was in working order by the fall. Gregg began doing his own projects. He continued working on the preservation of the eighty year old  Fines Creek Community Center. We have since added a gallery and woodworking shop.

We make stuff. Some of the stuff could be called paintings, sculpture, décor, lighting, clocks and toys. The items on this website represent the best of our projects. If you see something you like, and would like something similar made to your specifications, we can make it. We hope you enjoy the ideas that we have pursued.
